TCF Awards $147,000 in Community Impact Grants

TCF recently awarded $146,917 in grants to 17 Inland nonprofits. These one-year capacity building grants were made possible by our Community Impact Fund.

The Community Impact Fund consists of unrestricted contributions and allows TCF to make grants through a competitive process to eligible nonprofits in order to strengthen organizational capacity, effectiveness, and sustainability so that the most critical needs in our community are addressed.

Congratulations to the 2018 one-year Community Impact Fund grantees: ACT For Multiple Sclerosis ($10,000); Bear Valley Community Healthcare District Foundation FBO The Mom & Dad Project ($6,298); Building Resilient Communities ($10,000); Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert ($3,000); Cove Communities Senior Association ($10,000); Desert Manna ($10,000); Fox Riverside Theater Foundation ($10,000); Inland Empire Waterkeeper – Orange County Coastkeeper ($10,000); Inlandia Institute ($7,500); Project TOUCH – Gods Fan Club ($10,000); Pueblo Unido Cdc ($2,690); Queen of Hearts Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc. ($9,900); Rebirth Homes ($10,000); Rim of the World Educational Foundation ($10,000); The Let It Be Foundation Inc ($7,529); Women Wonder Writers ($10,000); and Women’s Breast Cancer Resource Center – Michelle’s Place ($10,000).

The Foundation accepts competitive grant proposals from nonprofit organizations who work to make a difference in the lives of Riverside and San Bernardino County residents throughout the year. Nonprofits interested in applying in 2019 can check the TCF website for guidelines and giving periods.

“The Foundation engages with nonprofits through its competitive, annual grant opportunities,” said Celia Cudiamat, Senior Vice President of Grants and Community Impact. “Nonprofits interested in applying for grants should visit our website for information regarding grant opportunities.”  

The 2019 grant schedule and instructions on how to apply will be available in February 2019.
