Mission

The mission of The Community Foundation Women’s Giving Circle is to engage women of influence in the Inland Region in the power of community philanthropy.

The goals of the Giving Circle are to:

  • Empower women givers to increase giving locally by cultivating a culture of philanthropy
  • Educate donors on women’s economic security and mobility issues in our community
  • Award grants to nonprofit organizations whose programs and services promote economic security for women and their families in the Inland Region.
  • Combine resources, talents and interests to the benefit of women and children throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties, proving that women of compassion can make the greatest difference by working together for change.

    The Community Foundation
    Women’s Giving Circle is a group of philanthropic women who participate in philanthropy through education, grantmaking and various community activities. Through collective giving and collaboration, the giving circle is committed to improving the economic security of women and their families in the Inland region while uniting a diverse group of effective women philanthropists.

    A special fund of The Community Foundation, the giving circle enables women to direct their giving in purposeful and strategic ways. 

    Membership
    As a member of the giving circle, you will have opportunity to:

  • To increase philanthropy in the Inland Region  
  • To connect philanthropic women for maximum impact
  • To improve the lives of women and their families in our area
  • To invest in programs and organizations that deliver maximum return

  • Each member contributes $1,000 yearly to the Women’s Giving Circle, a fund of The Community Foundation, which will allow us to award grants to service organizations in our community.

    Membership Gifts are tax deductible to the limits of the law.
    The Community Foundation is a non-profit under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
