The Idyllwild Youth Grantmakers Fund was established by The Community Foundation in February. The committee consists of local middle schools students who review proposals, conduct site-visits and recommend grants for funding as part of a comprehensive multi-session after school philanthropy program. All grant awards have final approval from The Idyllwild Community Fund Advisors and The Community Foundation Board of Directors.

The Youth Grantmakers program is led by The Community Foundation with additional program support provided by the Idyllwild Community Fund Advisory Board members and Idyllwild School staff.
